2024 GENERAL ELECTION PROCLAMATION
GOSHEN COUNTY, WYOMING
September 20, 2024 – Uniformed and oversees citizens absentee voting begins.
October 8, 2024 – Early voting and absentee voting begins (no excuse needed).
October 21, 2024 – Last day to register to vote. Voter registration is permitted on Election Day.
November 5, 2024 – GENERAL ELECTION DAY Polls are open from 7 AM to 7 PM *Photo ID required.
Campaign Finance filing: Primary Deadline – August 13, 2024 Primary Amendment Deadline – August 30, 2024

Ballot Propositions to be voted on at the General Election:
Constitutional Amendment A
The adoption of this amendment would separate residential real property into its own class of property for purposes of property tax assessments. The amendment would authorize the legislature to create a subclass of owner occupied primary residences. FOR AGAINST
County Lodging Tax
Shall Goshen County, Wyoming, be authorized to continue to collect an additional two percent (2%) Excise Tax upon the sales price paid for lodging services within the county, the primary purpose of which is for local travel and tourism promotion, all as more particularly governed by the application provisions of W.S. 39-14-204?

County Sales and Use Tax
Shall Goshen County, Wyoming, continue to impose a one percent (1%) Sales and Use Tax upon goods and services subject to such tax, to raise revenue for distribution to the General Fund of Goshen County and the incorporated cities and towns within Goshen County? FOR the County Sales and Use Tax AGAINST the County Sales and Use Tax
