TORRINGTON – Memorial services for Lyle David Woyak, 60, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Sonrise Church with Pastor Brent Mullock officiating. Lyle died June 11, 2024, and cremation has taken place.

Lyle David Woyak was born December 19, 1963, at the hospital in Torrington to Frank and May Woyak. He lived his entire life in Torrington. After High School he got certified in auto body and worked for several years at Holly Sugar. In 1996, he became a father to a beautiful baby girl, Susan Woyak, and later in life he gained an amazing stepson, Cory Munson. He enjoyed building cars and being outdoors. His absolute favorite thing to do in his free time was to spoil his nieces and nephews, filling them up with sugar and teaching them how to be mischievous. Lyle was an amazing father, brother, son, uncle and friend who will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his daughter, Susan Woyak; stepson, Cory Munson; siblings, Nancy (Robert) Cline, Frank (Rhonda) Woyak, Lester (Kathy) Woyak, Vernon (Belinda) Woyak, Linda (Eddie) Hill and multiple adopted siblings; nieces and nephews, Melody Darby, Lorrie Buckner-Wells, Chance Cline, Leslie Owens, Roxanna Stockton, Darla Cunningham, Renee Vigil, Elizabeth Kendall, Jammie Hill, Sarah Fronapfel, Tiffany Winburn, Douglas Woyak, Jerralee Olbricht, Timothy Woyak, Krysstal Ferguson and Johnn Woyak; Too many to count great nieces and nephews as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Lyle was preceded in death by his father, Frank Woyak; mother, May Woyak; nephews, André Woyak, Franklin Woyak and great niece Cora Woyak.
