Russell Alan Kilmer passed away July 19, 2024, at the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colorado. Russ was born March 1, 1947, to Myron and Marjorie (Martin) Kilmer in Lusk. He attended school there and met his high school sweetheart Nadine Nelson their junior year in high school. Russ and Nadine married October 1967 and were going to have their 57th anniversary this year. Russ and Nadine lived in Lusk during their first years of marriage. Russ worked for his dad Myron Kilmer and sold Wynns, a vehicle additive company. They had one son, Heath in 1969, and their second son, Loran in 1972. They then moved to Casper continuing to sell Wynns. They moved to Torrington in 1974 where Russ worked for the Kilmer Dairy, then Meadow Gold Dairy Foods, and they had their third child, a daughter, Terena in 1977. Russ switched jobs and worked under Kenz and Leslie which was a distributor of BG Products, and then the opportunity arose for Russ and Nadine to purchase a territory for themselves in 1981. They started their own distributorship. When Heath graduated high school, he and his dad worked the family business of taking care of people through adding products to vehicles which made them run better and longer until his death. Russ never quit, he was always running around taking care of rentals, paying bills, putting orders in for BG, hunting, fishing, and spending time with family.

He was an avid hunter of all big game animals, and loved bird hunting (especially geese) and fishing (especially Walleye). He loved hunting with his family and close friends. His last big hoorah hunt was a beautiful bull moose which he proudly displayed in his home. Russ loved classic cars and watching sports. He always had a couple magazines sitting around that he was reading articles and checking prices of cars or trucks. He read the newspaper every day and had them sitting around everywhere. He was a Mopar lover and loved working on a Charger he and Heath were restoring.

Russ is survived by his wife, Nadine, his three kids, Heath Kilmer (Lisa), Loran Kilmer, Terena Main (Gary), four grandchildren; Heather Ojeda (Trevor), Bryce and Ridge Main, Chris Domec and one great grandson, Caleb. He adored his grandchildren and was looking forward to hunting and fishing with the boys.

Russ was preceded in death by his parents, Marjorie and Myron, his stepparents Harold Manders, and Norene Kilmer, several cousins, and great friends he considered brothers.
