TORRINGTON – Nine local volleyball players were named all-conference in their respective conferences, with a player from each school – Adia Sherbeyn, Hailey Anderson and Jade Cooper – named to the all-state list.

Sherbeyn was the only Lady Blazer on the 3A all-state list, while Anderson represented Southeast in the 2A all-state honorees and Cooper, hailing from Lingle-Fort Laramie, was the lone Lady Dogger on the 1A all-state team. Anderson and Cooper were both named all-state a season ago as well.

At the all-conference level, Logan Murphy joined Sherbeyn as some of the 3A East’s top players. In the 2A Southeast, where Anderson was named the player of the year, Kassidy McClun and Ellie Schmitt were also recognized for their efforts. L-FL had four girls named all-conference in the 1A Southeast, with Cooper, Jordyn Gaspers, Jordan Hunt and Amanda Riley all earning recognition.

In the Southeast Wyoming Athletic Conference (SEWAC), Southeast had three all-conference players and L-FL added another two. The conference, which includes Glenrock, Pine Bluffs, Burns, Southeast and L-FL, had 12 players named all-conference. Anderson was again named player of the year for the conference and she was joined by fellow Goshen County players in Cooper, Riley, Schmitt and McClun.
