The Torrington High School Lady Blazers squared off against Gering in the home opener on March 26. Gering maintained a halftime lead of 5-0 to prevail, 9-0, at the end of regulation.
The Lady Blazers managed to get in quite a few punches, however, with solid plays on both defense and offense.
Torrington travels to play Douglas on Thursday with kickoff scheduled for 3 p.m.
