BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS of
GOSHEN COUNTY, WYOMING
November 20, 2018
The Board of County Commissioners of Goshen County, Wyoming met in regular session on the above date at 9:00 am at the Goshen County Courthouse with the following members present, Chairman Carl Rupp, Vice Chairman Wally Wolski and Commissioner John Ellis and Cindy Kenyon, County Clerk and Clerk of the Board. Commissioner Wolski moved to approve the agenda as submitted, minutes of the last meeting as amended and updated warrant agreement, seconded and passed.
The Sheriff’s Report was accepted from Sheriff Wardell and Lt. Wes Deen.
Commissioner Ellis reported the Fair Grounds operated approximately $2000 to the positive last month.
Wyoming County Commissioner’s Association Director Pete Obermueller presented information on the proposed worker’s compensation liability pool.
Care Center Board Member Paul Novak presented information on establishing a written agreement between the Goshen County Commissioners and the Care Center Joint Powers Board. The agreement will assure understanding of the property line connecting the two properties, its’ buildings, use, and outdoors. Evergreen Court will be remodeled and repaired to complement the exterior design and intent of the Evergreen Plaza and Evergreen Court will have access to usage of the new facility. The Care Center Joint Powers Board will provide the monetary support for the project. The agreement has not been drafted yet.
The County Treasurer’s report was accepted from Maxine Mitchell.
Commissioner Ellis moved to approve the grant agreement between the Wyoming Business Council and Goshen County for $3100 to update lighting in the Library, seconded and passed.
County Attorney Elect Eric Boyer updated the Commission on his transition plan.
The Commission adjourned at 11:10 am. The next meeting will be held Tues. December 4, 2018.
