Pinnacle Bank's costume drive

TORRINGTON – For the upcoming Halloween season, Pinnacle Bank is running a Halloween costume drive. They are accepting new or used costumes in order to share them for free with those in need.

Inspired by their Mitchell location, the Torrington Pinnacle Bank branch is accepting donations for Halloween costumes too. The Mitchell location came up with the idea last year and they had great success.

The idea of the drive is to get locals to drop off costumes their children have grown out of or will not wear, to give other children the opportunity to have a new costume for this Halloween. The people of Pinnacle Bank would just like to make sure this Halloween can be fun for everyone.

These costumes are welcome to anyone. They know the last few years have been rough on everyone. We also do not have many resources locally to buy things like Halloween costumes and finding the time to go can be difficult. Some kids may want a costume from older years, and it cannot be found in stores.

There are a number of reasons this drive could be helpful for community members. They just want to provide everyone an opportunity to get a costume they are happy in. Pinnacle Bank said there are no limitations on who can come find a costume.

“Every child deserves a fun and memorable Halloween, so we’re collecting new and gently used costumes to provide local families with a free and exciting selection,” a local associate shared from the flier.

The bank is taking both costume and cash donations until the eighteenth at the bank. Then, they will open up shop for those interested in picking up a costume on October 22 and 23 from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and October 24 and 25 from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

They will also be accepting costumes after Halloween is over in case people are done with their costumes for the year and want to take them right on over. They will be using the costumes for next year’s drive.
