TORRINGTON – The Torrington Police Department is welcoming the community to attend the National Night Out 2024 which will be held on Tuesday, August 6 at Jirdon Park in Torrington from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
“We are just over two weeks away from our annual community party. We would love to have you join us whether to enjoy the evening’s festivities or as a participant by hosting a free booth,” the police department said in a recent social media post. “We will have a free hot dog meal (while supplies last), thanks to WYO Help, Go Goshen, Culligan Water of Torrington, and Waggin’ Tails Animal Shelter!”
There will be bounce houses, games, water fun and more, according to the post.
“We still have plenty of room for more booths. If you’re interested, sign up by filling out this short Google form: https://forms.gle/aejoicqwgDvGja7p6,” the post reads. “We are so excited to celebrate our community with everyone!”
