LaGrange school recognized
Cheryl Grandstaff presented LaGrange school principal, Matt Daily, a plaque from American Legion Auxiliary Unit 70.
“Our unit wanted to present this award to the LaGrange Elementary students, teachers and staff because of their commitment to Americanism and Patriotism,” Cathy Stoddard, unit president, said.

“The students participate in several projects every year. Some of the larger projects are the poppy poster contest, Americanism Essay contest and art projects for the Veterans Day Dinner,” Stoddard said.

“The teachers are always willing to allow us time in their busy schedule to provide additional education. They have been very gracious to allow us to come into the classroom every year for Veterans in the classroom during education week. We are so very thankful to all of them. ‘Be Your Best to Keep America Strong,” Stoddard continued.
