TORRINGTON – The Goshen County School District #1 Board of Trustees could look a lot different as six seats are up for grabs in the general election November 5.

Board Chairman Michael Sussex, along with Board Treasurer Carlos Saucedo, and members Lena Moeller, Matthew Cushman, Dylan Hager and Justin Hurley all have seats available on the ballot in November.

The only board members who will remain are vice chairman Sarah Chaires, clerk Chris Alexander and member Wade Phipps.

The deadline to submit applications to run on the November ballot is Monday, August 26.

Currently, three individuals have filed paperwork to run for the six open seats.

They are Tony Goulart, Thomas Massey and Peter Kasperbauer.
