He has been diagnosed with lupus, lung nodules, inflammatory bowel disease, Crohn’s, colitis and other autoimmune diseases,” the benefit flyer reads. “Please join us for this community event to support the Hopkins family with meeting Brain’s medical needs. Cash donations can be made to First State Bank.”

According to the flyer, raffle and live auction items such as half a beef, two Husker football tickets, a cross bow, baskets, gift certificates and more.

The hamburger dinner will be Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. as a free will donation. Ritch Reyes will provide live music during the dinner hours. The auction and raffles are set to begin at 7 p.m.
