TORRINGTON – A Celebration of Life for Madison “Maddie” S. Cook, 20, will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 24, 2021 at the Rendezvous Center at the Goshen County Fairgrounds. Maddie died April 20, 2021 in Torrington and cremation has taken place. The Colyer Funeral Home assisted the family with the cremation arrangements.
Maddie was born Dec. 8, 2000 in Torrington, the daughter of Nathan and Stacey (Veal) Cook. She grew up and attended school in Torrington and graduated Lingle High School. She attended art classes at Eastern Wyoming College for a while and then worked and received her certification in Tattoo Art. She also worked at a daycare facility.
Maddie enjoyed animals, riding four wheelers and horses, shooting guns, spending time outdoors, camping and mud racing.
Maddie is survived by her parents Nate and Stacey Cook of Veteran; sisters Corie Wunder of Torrington and Autumn Cook of Veteran; grandparents Tracy and Kevin Flock of Torrington, Brad and Stacia Cook of Guernsey and Randy and Sandy Veal of Marble Falls, Texas; great-grandparents Virginia and Marvin Reib of Torrington and Doug and Janet Flock of Torrington; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her great grandfather Johnnie Rummell.
