LAGRANGE – Memorial services for Linda Rae Vinton, 67, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec.  5 at the LaGrange Bible Church with Pastor Tom Harves officiating. Linda died Nov. 28 at Community Hospital in Torrington and cremation has taken place. Memorials may be given to Gideons International in lieu of flowers. Linda was born Jan. 15, 1953 in Sac City, Iowa the daughter of Wilbur and Wilma (Nelson) Wunschel. She grew up and received her education in Sac City and later attended Wayne State University where she received her teaching degree. She taught several years in Rushville, Neb. This is where she met and on Aug. 22, 1981 married Michael Vinton. She taught country school on the ranch where they lived. They moved to LaGrange in 2006 where she was a homemaker and raised her family. Linda was involved in the LaGrange Bible Church doing secretarial work and assisted with Awana. 

Linda enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of the LaGrange Bible Church and served as secretary for the War Memorial Building. 

Linda is survived by her husband Michael Vinton of LaGrange; son Jim (Makayla) Vinton of Glenville, Minn.; daughters Traci (Cody) Tremain and Rebecca Vinton of LaGrange; grandchildren Skyler and Montana Vinton, Katie, Lizzie, and Della Tremain and BrentonVinton; brothers Gary Wunschel of Malvern, Iowa, Ron Wunschel of Bentonville, Ark., Randy Wunschel of Webster City, Iowa and Wes Wunschel of Bentonville; and a sister Judy Wunschel of Denver, Colo. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a daughter Rachel.
