TORRINGTON – Funeral services for Larry Eugene Cecil, 82, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with Bishop Dathan Froerer officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery. Larry died July 12, 2023 at Torrington Community Hospital. Visitation will be Monday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Larry was born March 7, 1941 to Melvin and Lillian Cecil. He was raised with two brothers Myron and Tom. Larry loved living on the farm. He married Gloria Mills on June 11, 1961. They had two children Shari Cecil Jenkins and Jon Cecil. Larry attended college in Torrington and Laramie. He was employed at Lockwood and Holly Sugar. He enjoyed farming.
Larry is survived by his wife Gloria; his children; his grandchildren Lance Jenkins, Ty Jenkins, Jeremy Cecil, and Hannah Cecil; and one great grandson Axton Jenkins.
