TORRINGTON – Karl Oliver Emigh Jr. (35) of Torrington took his last breath after a long hard battle with Progressive MS. He would spend his last days at home with family.
Survived by his three children, Landon (16) Tristan (15) and Elizabeth (7), his siblings Zack, Hanna and Rion, father Karl Emigh Sr. and mother Lisa Baggett.
As a child he was rugged, athletic with a passion for life and football. He would later rely on his toughness to fight a relentless disease. Aside from the willingness to give you the shirt off his back, he was popular with the nurses and physical therapists who oogled over his charm and amazing smile.
He left peacefully taking with him a very loving and powerful promise made by his first born Landon. A long warm embrace from his son Tristan and the sweet voice of Elizabeth reading to her daddy for the last time.
