TORRINGTON – Diana Lynn Carter, 64, died Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017, at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Feb. 4, 2017, at Lifeway Baptist Church with the Rev. Cody Dyer officiating.
Ms. Carter was born Aug. 14, 1952, in Wheatland, the daughter of Ralph C. and Betty Jo-an (Burke) Carter. She attended school in Wheatland, while living in Dwyer. In September 1965, her family moved to Torrington, where she finished her education and graduated in 1970.
She had lived in Laramie, Cheyenne and Riverton before returning to Torrington. She enjoyed crafts, reading and had taught herself to knit. She was a member of Lifeway Baptist Church and loved going to church.
Ms. Carter is survived by a sister, Brenda Carter (Bill Lewis) of Tigard, Ore., and two brothers, Jules Carter of Torrington and Baird Carter of Lander. She was preceded in death by her parents.
