TORRINGTON – At his request, no public services will be held for Delmer Dean Deffenbaugh, 59, who died at Community Hospital on July 20, 2019. Cremation has taken place.
Memorials to the family to help with funeral expenses would be appreciated. The Colyer Funeral Home assisted the family with the cremation arrangements.
Delmer was born December 28, 1959, in Rawlins, Wyo., the son of Roy Lee and Gladys Fern (Gilbert) Deffenbaugh. He grew up in Rawlins and received his early education there.
In his early 20’s, he moved to Cheyenne, Wyo. where he worked in restaurants as a cook and also worked as a mechanic.
He met Robin Stovall in 1999 and they were later married in 2007. They moved to Torrington in 2009 with their two children. He had to quit working due to ill health.

Delmer is survived by his wife, Robin; daughters, Katie and Evalee Deffenbaugh; and sons, Shane, Earl and Kristor Deffenbaugh all of Torrington; brothers, Terry (Dee) Deffenbaugh and David (Carla) Deffenbaugh of Rawlins, Wyo.; sisters, Glenda Silbaugh of Nebraska and Tracy Mahaffey of Cheyenne, Wyo.; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers Dan, Don, Jerry and Elmer; and an infant son, Andrew.
