TORRINGTON – Funeral services for Beverley Faye Yeik, 92, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 1, 2022 at the United Methodist Church with Reverend Jeff Wayland officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery. Beverley died November 27, 2022 at Torrington Community Hospital. Memorials may be given to the United Methodist Church or the Torrington Senior Center. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3pm to 5pm. The casket will be closed at the church. Beverley was born July 6, 1930 in Burns, Wyoming the daughter of Carl and Wilda (Arnold) Sawyer. She received her early education in LaGrange, Wyoming and in 1948 she graduated Torrington High School. She then attended Colorado Women’s College for two years where she received and Associates Degree. In 1950 she married Ray Schuppan and they had three children. She later married Robert L. Yeik. She worked as a secretary and Eastern Wyoming College for many years where she received. 

Beverley was a member of the United Methodist Church and enjoyed many church activities and served on many committees. She enjoyed playing cards, listening to music, gardening and reading. 

Beverley is survived by daughters Beckie (Pat) Havely of Torrington, and Robyn Schuppan of Cheyenne; a son Carl Bradley (Darla) Schuppan of Jerusalem, Arkansas; step-son Robert N. (Beverly) Yeik of Yoder; step-daughter Diane Hodge of California ; a sister Carlene (Les) Schmidt; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a step-son Daniel Yeik.
