TORRINGTON – Funeral services for Tyler Austin Lane, 22, will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018, at the Rendezvous Center at the Goshen County Fairgrounds with Kyle Vanlandingham officiating. Cremation will follow the services.
Tyler died Sept. 27, 2018, in Newcastle. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be determined later. Visitation will be Thursday at the funeral home from 9 a.m. to noon and the casket will be open at the Rendezvous Center prior to the service.

Tyler was born March 6, 1996, in Aurora, Colo., the son of Gaelen and Susan (Magee) Lane. He grew up and received his education in Byers and Deer Trail, Colo., graduating Deer Trail High School. He attended college at Colorado School of the Mines, the University of Wyoming and Eastern Wyoming College. He had earned an Associate of Science Degree.
Tyler enjoyed and participated in drag racing and bullfighting at rodeos. He had been actively involved in 4-H, FFA and was a member of the NHRA.
Tyler is survived by his parents Gaelen and Susan Lane of Torrington; brothers Coby Lane and Ryley Lane both of Torrington; his sister Baliegh Lane of Torrington; his paternal grandparents Wayne and Blanche Lane of Byers; his dog Peter San; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents William and Mary Magee.
