Jared Clapper (left), first year member and recent graduate from Southeast, placed 8th in agribusiness, while Emi Glass, also a first year member and recent graduate from THS placed 9th in public speaking at the National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, Texas. These two members of the Torrington High School FBLA chapter made it to stage (Top 10) at the conference in Texas June 29 through July 2.  The accomplishment of these two young adults are the first to reach this accolade in Torrington High School’s FBLA advisor Kristi McGuire’s tenure at Torrington.  They competed against the Nation’s best with each state that allows four competitors per event.  Overall, Wyoming had seven students return with trophies from the conference.
