WHEATLAND – Beloved sister, mother, grandmother and friend Tamma Jean True-Hatten, 76, of Wheatland went to be with her Lord on the morning of Friday, Feb. 10, 2017 at her home in Wheatland.

Mrs. True-Hatten was born at Solandt Memorial Hospital in Hayden, Colorado on Oct. 12, 1940. She was the first child born to H.A. “Dave” and Jean (Durland) True. She graduated from Natrona County High School in Casper and attended the University of Wyoming, where she met her late husband Donald George Hatten.

Married on June 25, 1960, the couple worked for True Companies until they purchased and operated Kirby Creek Land and Livestock in Thermopolis. They raised red angus cattle and quarter horses.

She was joyfully involved in the activities of her family, always supportive and inspiring. She also enjoyed gardening and spending time in her beautiful flower garden and yards. But her greatest pleasure came from her passion for the Lord and sharing God’s word.
