TORRINGTON – The Goshen County Rooster Booster banquet will be held on Saturday, Nov. 5 at 4:30 p.m. The banquet will be held in the rendezvous center at the Goshen County fairgrounds. The cost is $30 per person, $50 for a couple and kids under 12 are free.
The Goshen County Rooster Boosters are putting together their annual banquet. Tickets for the event can be purchased at the door, or ahead of the event from any Rooster Booster board member.
There will be a social hour to begin the night, then a silent auction and a meal to follow. There will also be a live auction at the event.
They are selling tickets for two different gun raffles. Both drawings are being held on Nov. 5 and you do not have to be present to win.
Tickets for the first raffle cost $10 each. The first-place winner receives a Weatherby Orion I 12-gauge over and under shotgun, and second place wins a Weatherby Element 22 Waterfowl 12-gauge shotgun.
Tickets for the second raffle cost $20 each. The first-place winner receives a Weatherby 18I Deluxe 12-gauge shotgun, and second place wins a Weatherby Vanguard Milt Camo rifle chambered in .243 Winchester.
