PUBLIC NOTICE

BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS of
GOSHEN COUNTY, WYOMING
    Tuesday Dec 15, 2020
The Board of County Commissioners of Goshen County, Wyoming met in regular session on the above date at 9:00 am at the Goshen County Courthouse in the Commissioners Chambers with the following members present Chairman John Ellis, Vice Chairman Cody Cox, Pinky Walter Commissioner and Cindy Kenyon, County Clerk and Clerk of the Board. This meeting is held via Zoom.  The meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance. Commissioner Walter moved to approve the agenda and minutes of the last meeting, seconded and passed.
The Sheriff’s report was presented by Sheriff Kory Fleenor. Commissioner Walter moved to approve the Sheriff’s report, seconded and passed. Sheriff Fleenor

County Treasurer Leticia Dominguez report was presented by the County Clerk. Commissioner Walter moved to accept the Treasurer’s report, seconded and passed.
County Clerk Cindy Kenyon presented the Clerks updated warrant report. Commissioner Walter moved to approve the updated warrant report, seconded and passed. Clerk Kenyon also presented the County Holiday Calendar.  Commissioner Walter moved to approve the holiday calendar as presented, seconded and passed. Commissioner Walter moved to approve the Clerk’s report, seconded and passed.
Bob Taylor County Surveyor presented a recommendation to award a bid to Harvey contractors DBA American Striping Company. The base bid amount is $122,689.70. Commissioner Walter moved to award the bid to American Striping Company, seconded and passed. Most of this work will be paid by a grant contract.
County Emergency Manager Shelly Kirchhefer requested approval of the EMPG grant contract which partially funds her office. Commissioner Walter moved to ratify the EMPG (Emergency Management Planning) grant contract, seconded and passed.
The County audit was presented by BDO representative Steve Blundell. BDO is an external auditing firm. Ron Russell of Russell Business Services the County Government Accounting Standards Consultant also attended via Zoom. Chairman Ellis commented the Commission is very pleased with the outcome of the audit. Commissioner Walter moved to accept the county audit, seconded and passed.
Chairman Ellis opened a public comment period. There were no comments offered via Zoom or other methods.
 The Commission adjourned at 9:40 am to honor Commissioner Walter at his final meeting. The next regular meeting will be Tuesday January 5, 2021.
