8:04 a.m. – Assist the public, West 25th Avenue, Torrington – Report of motorist passing a stopped s
chool bus.

10:51 a.m. – Animal call, Officer initiated on East F Street, Torrington – Removed a squirrel from the road.

12:52 p.m. – Assist the public, Road 74, Torrington – Caller had questions for a deputy regarding the legality of her husband taking her and her daughter’s possession to the dump.

1:32 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East Valley Road, Torrington – Caller reported they may have found a bag of methamphetamine in one of the rooms.

1:49 p.m. – Disturbance, Road 74, Torrington – Report of verbal abuse; Male attempting to throw his wife and child out of the house.

Between 2:18 and 2:20 p.m., multiple locations, 35 reports of officer-initiated code violation incidents.

4:16 p.m. – Civil problem, C Street, LaGrange – Caller reported has a home listed for sale and under contract to be sold; subject removing appliances from the residence, requested deputy.

5:50 p.m. – Assist the public, to Torrington Police Department – Caller requested to speak to an officer to see why officers are looking for him.

9:18 p.m. – Disturbance, West C Street, Torrington – Caller reported hearing a female screaming; believed it was coming from area behind caller’s residence.

9:24 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, area of Road 146/Van Tassell Road/Road 61, Van Tassell – Per FAA, report of green laser light shining on airplanes.

10:03 p.m. – Disturbance, West C Street and West Valley Road, Torrington – Caller reported a group of females were screaming and yelling at them.

Sept. 22

10:03 a.m. – Abandoned vehicle, East Valley Road, Torrington – Caller complained of a Toyota Camry parked on the west side of the store; caller believed it was half on city and half on store property and that it had expired plates.

10:07 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, to TPD – Caller reported a bank in Columbus, Ohio, called to verify credit card applications he had not applied for.

12:24 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Buena Vista Road, Torrington – Caller requested officers to remove their 39-year-old son from the home; they were having an argument.

5:44 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, U.S. Hwy 26/85, Torrington – Vehicle stuck on the railroad tracks.

7:21 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East B Street, Torrington – Caller reported someone opened their mail without their permission.

Sept. 23

1:21 p.m. – Animal Call, East A Street, Torrington – Report of an aggressive black Chihuahua at large.

6:18 p.m. – Suspicious circumstance, U.S. Hwy. 85, Hawk Springs – Report of hunters on the side of the road attempting to flag people down for help; caller did not know why.

Sept. 24

12:32 a.m. – Suspicious person, Golf Course Road, Torrington – Caller reported a person, possibly on meth, at the location.

6:46 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East B Street, Torrington – Caller reported receiving threats from an unidentified subject in Mitchell, Neb., and requested an officer call.

8:04 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Park Avenue, Torrington – Caller reported a beige and white car, unknown make and model, driving by and knocking over trash cans.

Sept. 25

2:28 a.m. – Vandalism, East F Street, Torrington – Caller reported the tires on her vehicle were cut; provided name of possible suspect to officers.

8:09 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, call to TPD – Caller said he was on his way to Torrington Police Department with a “guy on his tail with a case of road rage.”

9:56 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East 17th Avenue, Torrington – Caller reported the tires on his car had been slashed, he believes by his girlfriend; she reportedly keeps driving by his residence.

11:08 a.m. – Burglary, West B Street, Torrington – Possible breaking and entering, caller reported four kids ran out the back door when arrived, two guns reported missing.

5:28 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, U.S. Hwy. 26/85, Torrington – Caller reported his neighbor/aunt had a domestic issue with her boyfriend earlier in the day; requested to speak with deputies.

6:07 p.m. – Disturbance, East H Street, Torrington – Downstairs neighbors are very loud, unknown if its television or music; they’ve reportedly been spoken to by the landlord but the noise continues.

Sept. 26

10:01 a.m. – Assist the public, East D Street, Torrington – A realtor found a white box that was left outside a property; believes it is suspicious.

10:10 a.m. – Assist the public, call to TPD – Question regarding an arrest; caller asked if it had to be done on their property.

10:49 a.m. – Assist the public, Lift Station Road, Torrington – Caller requested an inspection of trucks for drugs before allowing new drivers to operate the vehicles.

Sept. 27

3:40 a.m. – Prowler, East 3rd Street, Lingle – Caller reported someone going through a black Jeep parking in back of the residence.

9:02 a.m. – Animal call, East A Street, Torrington – Neighbor’s dogs barking all day; new neighbors.

12:52 p.m. – Assist the public, West C Street, Torrington – Report of letter from Loyal White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan; caller requested letter be documented, because sender requested the letter be shared in the school newspaper.

2:56 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Monte Vista Road, Torrington – Caller reportedly leased a horse trailer to an unidentified subject, said payments are late and communication is “slim to none.” Caller requested information on their options or next steps to get their trailer back. Caller said they’re in Florida right now, working with hurricane relief.

8:32 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Road 74, Torrington – Several minors reported they were going to a party at the location.

8:42 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, West C Street, Torrington – Minor thinks she’s intoxicated; sent a Snap Chat of her drinking.
