July 20
4:06 a.m. – Motor vehicle accident, U.S. Hwy. 85, Torrington – Silver Acura vs. deer, vehicle off the roadway and not drivable; Driver carrying prescription drugs for medical
facilities.
4:19 a.m. – Assist the public, East F Street, Torrington – Assist subject getting into wheelchair.
8:12 a.m. – Assist the public, Haines Street, Torrington – Woman reported receiving calls from unidentified subject in Fort Laramie who’s not supposed to be calling her; requested to speak with an officer.
8:53 a.m. – Assist the public, Torrington – Caller requested to speak with an officer regarding a strange telephone call.
9:26 a.m. – Traffic violations, Alta Vista Road, Torrington – Subject called with complaints regarding trucks working at Eastern Wyoming College speeding on Alta Vista Road all day; Caller was concerned for the safety of children in the area.
11:07 a.m. – Assist the public, West B Street, Torrington – Caller requested to speak with an officer regarding concerns about the stop sign at West B Street and 20th Avenue in Torrington.
1:39 p.m. – Assist the public, West A Street, Torrington – Caller reported a hole in the ground next to the road, said it feels “very spongy” and requested an officer check it out.
2:01 p.m. – Log information, East A Street, Torrington – Caller reported receiving numerous “scam” telephone calls; Wondering why nothing has been done to stop the scam callers.
6:23 p.m. – Assist the public, East J Street, Torrington – Caller complained about a neighbor who allegedly throws cat food on his side of the fence; Caller said he doesn’t own
the cats.
7:55 p.m. – Log information, East C Street, Torrington – Caller said he’d been told police said if he didn’t move his vehicle, it would be towed; He said he wasn’t sure of the exact place his vehicle had been left, but he would move it.

July 21
10:44 a.m. – Assist the public, Torrington Police Dept. – Subject brought in a box of old shot gun shells for disposal.
5:24 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East Valley Road, Torrington – Caller reported someone took the keys out of the truck he’s driving and he’s stuck in the middle of the road.

7:04 p.m. – Harassment, TPD – Caller reported she’s receiving telephone calls and texts, threatening to throw her belongings out of the house she’s renting; Caller said it’s disturbing her peace.
8:21 p.m. – Assist the public, East A Street, Torrington – Caller had questions regarding a neighbors dogs who bark whenever something is outside.
July 22
9:38 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East 28th Avenue, Torrington – A man reported his mother has received numbers threatening telephone messages from her grandson; requested to speak to an officer.
12:03 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, State Hwy. 92, Torrington – Report someone has moved barricades and signs in a construction zone.
11:40 p.m. – Assault, Park Street, Torrington – Caller reported being assaulted by two people who allegedly took drugs and “lost control.”

July 23
10:52 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, West E Street, Torrington – Caller reported two large wicker chairs stolen from the yard.
1:14 p.m. – Harassment, East A Street, Torrington – Caller reported being threatened by a girlfriend, reportedly being sent “nasty pictures
and stuff.”

July 24
1:43 a.m. – Suspicious person, Valley Road, Torrington – Report of a Hispanic male in a red shirt and dark-colored shorts squatting by the overpass; Caller wasn’t sure what he was doing.
7:10 a.m. – Assist the public, East H Street, Torrington – Caller reported someone threw a kids slide in the dumpster; Not sure if trash can dump it.
8:38 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East H Street, Torrington – Caller said a male subject was driving an unlicensed ATV, throwing trash from the vehicle; When the caller asked him about the trash, the driver reportedly sped off, almost running caller over.
10:45 a.m. – Harassment, to TPD, Torrington – Caller said she’s receiving phone calls and text messages with illicit photographs day and night.
12:10 p.m. – Animal call, West C Street, Torrington – Report of a possibly rabid squirrel, behind the house by a dumpster; Caller said the squirrel did not run from a cat and a dog.
5:06 p.m. – Assist the public, East Valley Road, Torrington – Caller requested to speak to an officer regarding people threatening to camp on their property during the eclipse.

July 25
9:30 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, to TPD, Torrington – Caller reported possible scam telephone calls; Caller believes someone is using someone else’s telephone number to
scam people.
11:29 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, to TPD, Torrington – 9-1-1 open line; sounds like pocket dial, could hear conversations but nothing sounded alarming.
1:32 p.m. – Assist the public, College Drive, Torrington – Caller reported a scam IRS call; requested to speak to an officer.
7:30 p.m. – Assist the public, East 17th Avenue, Torrington – Report of two children running around, unsupervised; Caller stated one child is wearing only underwear and the second is riding a scooter without shoes.
11:44 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East E Street, Torrington – Caller reported three males hiding in the rock garden at the Catholic Church; Caller saw them when he went to let the cat in and the men started
running north.

July 26
5:15 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Road 74J, Torrington – Caller reported waking up to find a man at the foot of her bed.
11:38 a.m. – Assist the public, to TPD, Torrington – Female caller said she tried calling the clinic and got the automated system; She stated she was pushing buttons, but no one would talk to her.
1:01 p.m. – Assist the public, Camino Del Rey, Torrington – Caller complained about people speeding through the neighborhood; said there is no speed limit sign and requested to talk to someone regarding having a sign installed.
1:34 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Main Street, Torrington – Caller reported an unidentified subject making “strange comments about being in Heaven” and making people uncomfortable.
