Ordinance No. 1180
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE APPROPRIATION OF MONEY BY THE CITY OF TORRINGTON, WYOMING, TO MEET ITS GENERAL FUND REQUIREMENTS AND OBLIGATIONS, TO MEET ITS ENTERPRISE FUND REQUIREMENTS AND OBLIGATIONS, FOR THE 2018 FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING JULY 1, 2017 AND FIXING THE SUM TO BE RAISED  BY TAXATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TORRINGTON, WYOMING:            
SECTION 1.  The following sums of money are hereby appropriated out of unexpended balances of the Fund Accounts and from estimated revenues, including Ad Valorem Tax Revenues, the total sum of $34,532,588 as follows:    
General Fund Requirements: Mayor & Council 370,886; Municipal Law 218,881; City Clerk/Treasurer     897,325; Maintenance 89,209; Lincoln Complex 299,852; Police Dept/911/Communications 2,225,411; Fire Department 193,602; Engineering 409,897; Streets & Alleys 826,839; Storm Drain Maintenance     22,838; Vehicle Maintenance 253,542; Parks & Recreations 363,020; Community Projects 113,571; Museum 138,365; Industrial Park 256,428; Special Construction Proj 161,721; Transfer to other Funds     1,048,614; Total Requirements General Fund Requirements 7,890,001.

Water Fund Requirements: Power & Pump 384,457; Metering 153,803; Distribution & Administration     1,494,764; Water Fund Projects 1,183,148; Total Water Fund Requirements 3,216,172.

Sewer Fund Requirements: Operations and Maintenance 1,444,519; Construction Projects 6,834,236; Total Sewer Fund Requirements     8,278,755.
    
Electric Fund Requirements: Purchasing    163,431; Director of Utilities, Services & Safety 0; Metering 165,159; Production - Wholesale Power 6,660,268; Distribution 2,681,959; Construction Projects 1,782,111; Total Electric Fund Requirements 11,452,928.

    
Sanitation Fund Requirements: Collection 756,576; Recycling 225,188; Disposal 607,353; Total Sanitation Fund Requirements 1,589,117.
    
Other Fund Requirements: Airport Fund 444,078; Golf Course Fund 635,056; Swimming Pool Fund     192,017; Ambulance Fund 574,607; Cemetery Fund 259,857; Total Other Fund Requirements 2,105,615.

Total Appropriations $34,532,588.
                
SECTION 2.  The sum of $298,330 shall be raised by taxation for the current expenses of the General Fund requirements for the said City of Torrington, during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2017.

ORDINANCE NO. 1181

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND RE-ENACTING CHAPTER 5.12 OF THE TORRINGTON
MUNICIPAL CODE, 2017 REVISIONS, RELATING TO LIQUOR REGULATIONS.

These ordinances were passed and approved by the City Council of the
City of Torrington on June 20, 2017. All ordinances are available for
viewing Monday through Friday 8 A.M. to 4 P.M. at City Hall located at
436 E 22nd Ave., Torrington WY.
