Notice of Intent to Adopt Rules and Regulations
Regulations Pertaining to Seed Law
The Wyoming Department of Agriculture, Technical Services Section, proposes amending Wyoming Rules and Regulations Chapter 51, Regulations Pertaining to Seed Law.
The Department is proposing to amend Chapter 51 Regulations Pertaining to Seed Law upon request from the regulated seed industry, the Wyoming Crop Improvement Association; the Wyoming State Seed Lab; the Wyoming Department of Agriculture; and the Board of Agriculture. The Board of Agriculture on April 10, 2017 approved the request to amend the rules to add Ventenata Grass Ventenata dubia to the Wyoming Regulated Weed List at a tolerance of 1,200 seeds per pound.
Public comments on the proposed amendments may be submitted by 5:00 pm on or before June 28, 2017. A public hearing will be held if requested by 25 or more persons, by a governmental subdivision, or by an organization of 25 or more members.
