TORRINGTON – Private family graveside services for Jerald Dean Mullock, 85, will be held at a later date. Jerald died at Goshen Healthcare Community on April 30, 2017 and cremation has taken place. Memorials may be given to the Yoder Volunteer Fire Department or Goshen Healthcare Community.

Jerald was born May 16, 1931, in Parnell, Mo., the son of Clark and Lillie (Black) Mullock. He moved with his family to Wyoming and attended school in Yoder, where he graduated high school. He farmed with his father for a time before buying and operating his own farm. He joined and served in the Wyoming National Guard. He married Myrtle Johnson on Feb. 23, 1955, in Yoder. He farmed wheat all his life. He retired in 1998 and moved to Torrington.
Jerald enjoyed building and flying radio-controlled airplanes and helicopters, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, following NASCAR racing, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of the Yoder Volunteer Fire Department and was a workaholic all his life.
Jerald is survived by his wife Myrtle Mullock of Torrington; daughter and son-in-law Jeri and Cactus Covello; granddaughter Christin Marie Covello of Torrington; grandson Paul Anthony “Tony” Covello III of Cheyenne; and a sister Karen Townsend of Sheridan. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister; a brother; and an infant brother.
