2:30 p.m. Afternoon Program - “Alcohol, Animal, and Arrogance” – The three A’s that started the Plains Indians War. Post Trader Store, 30 minutes.
5 p.m. Evening Program - “Crime in the Frontier Army: Punishment, Harsh and Certain.” – Life on the frontier army was harsh and an enlisted soldier was almost sure to run afoul of the military justice. Visitor Center, 30 minutes.

Thursday, June 22
12:30 p.m. Afternoon Program - “Playing on the Frontier” – Children have always found ways to enjoy themselves even during the hardest of times. Learn to make some of the toys 19th century children would have made to idle the hours away in imagination. Post Surgeons Quarters, 45 minutes.

3:30 p.m. Afternoon Program - Guided Tour of “Old Fort Laramie” – The epic story of the American West played out on a grand scale at Fort Laramie. Join a ranger and tour the place that became famous in the annals of history. Cavalry Barracks, 90 minutes

1 p.m. Afternoon Program - “Historic Weapons Demonstration” – Learn about small arm weapons used during the Indian War period at Fort Laramie. Commissary Bleachers, 45 minutes.
3:30 p.m. Afternoon Program - “Bugler: Better than a Clock” – For the frontier soldier the bugle call became the primary means of communication. Learn where to be when called by the bugle and the roles and responsibilities of the all- important bugler. Cavalry Barracks, 30 minutes. Saturday, June 24

5 p.m. Evening Program – Guided Walk: “The Birds of Fort Laramie” – Join local ornithologist Jane Dorn on a guided bird walk of the Fort. Catch a glimpse and hear the call of some of Fort Laramie’s wildlife. Commissary Bleachers, 45 minutes.
