TORRINGTON – Parents Melanie Ann Simoes and Alexander Joseph Mendez of Torrington announce the birth of a son, Elijah Alexander Mendez.
Elijah was born at 3:46 a.m. on Friday, May 5, 2017, at Community Hospital in Torrington. He measured 19 5/8 inches and weighed 7 pounds 4 ounces at birth.
Grandparents are Mary Rivas of Torrington and Lucile Simoes of Tipton, Calif.
