This afternoon several school administrators from around Wyoming informed the Goshen County Central Office administration that their school districts received a hoax email regarding a school threat. As of 3:00 PM today, Goshen County School District has not received an email threat. The Torrington Police Department has been informed of the emails from around the state. We do not deem this to be a credible threat to the safety and security of our schools in Goshen County. Our response has been to ask school staff to be vigilant of their surroundings and report any irregularities to their building administrator. We appreciate the support of law enforcement in our communities as they work with our staff around the district to maintain the safety and security of our students.
