TORRINGTON – No services will be held at this time for Cordelia Colleen Gilmer, 60, who died March 25, 2017 at her home after a battle with cancer. Cremation has taken place and memorials may be made t o the family to help with expenses. The Colyer Funeral Home assisted the family with the cremation arrangements.
Cordelia was born June 27, 1956 in Willard, Ohio, the daughter of Ola and Davann (Collins) Jones. She grew up in Ohio and Wayland, Ky. and received her education there. She graduated high school in Kentucky. She received her CNA training in Oklahoma and worked in various places in healthcare. She worked until 2013 when she retired and moved to
Torrington, Wyo.
Cordelia loved spending time with her grandchildren, riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, and playing pool. She did volunteer work for many different
organizations.
Cordelia is survived by her husband Donald Gilmer of Torrington ; children Nicholas Click, Thomas (Stacey) Click, and Trenette (Ty) Cobb all of Rock Springs, Wyo. , Donald (Alicia) Gilmer Jr and Suanne Gilmer both of Torrington; and Stacey (Travis) Gilmer of Cavour, S.D. ; grandchildren Nikiaya, Shelby, Kaleb, Josh, Mycale, Talon and Gracie Click, Trenten and Javin Toth, Jaslynn Horn, Noylan White, Kaden Bigley, Sabastian Gilmer and Brianna Gilmer; siblings Sally Hotelling, Jim Jones, Judy Sampson, Tessie Webb, Mary McKinney, Ola Ellis, Wanda Bantu, Earnest Jones, Larry Jones, Sharon Moore, Ola Jones Jr, Russell Caudill and Maggie Waltkins; and her mother-in-law Margaret Gilmer. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons; a brother; and a
granddaughter.
