Vistabeam local office now open in Torrington

GERING, Neb. – Internet Service Provider Vistabeam is opening a new office location at 1841 Main Street in Torrington that will be at the center of Vistabeam’s broadband network in Eastern Wyoming.
“Goshen County has been one of the strongest parts of our network since we started offering service in 2004,” said Matt Larsen, CEO of Vistabeam. “One of the things that we focus on is making stronger connections with the communities that we serve. There are few better ways of showing a community how important they are than by having a physical location in their town.”
Vistabeam was helped out by a grant from the Goshen County Progress Fund that will help pay for the new signage on the building. The building at 1841 Main Street in Torrington was originally a hotel and has been home to many other businesses over the years.

“Our Torrington location will be right at the center of our upgrade plans for EasternWyoming. We are bringing in fiber and will be deploying two new types of wireless in Torrington that will provide 100Meg for home and small offices and Gigabit speeds for enterprise customers. The downtown Torrington location is the base we will be building from as we develop those services,” said Larsen.
Torrington Office Manager, Lisa Kaufman, will be in the office when it opens for business on May 8.
She is looking forward to working with the residents of Torrington and
Goshen County.
