Third-grade musical

TORRINGTON – Third-graders from Trail Elementary will present their annual holiday musical at the Torrington High School auditorium.

Elfis and the Frozen Princess is set in the mythical Scandinavian country of Frozonia, where King Copenhaagendassen and Queen Articia are hosting the annual Snowflake Festival. The King and Queen invited the entire kingdom, but leave Princess Siberianna off the guest list.

Siberianna, very upset she was not invited, freezes the King and Queen’s daughter, Princess Snowella, as revenge. This musical presents messages of kindness, forgiveness, acceptance, peace, and of course some pretty awesome songs.

Performances are scheduled for 2 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 13. Music teacher Hilary Gore said students have worked hard memorizing lines and songs, promising “a great show.”
