TORRINGTON – The 28th Avenue Studio dancers in Torrington participated in the Spotlight Dance Cup Competition over the weekend in Gillette. Stephanie Kath, owner/instructor sent 74 participants. The following is the results for the studio, the awards scale ranges from Diamond, Ruby, Emerald and Sapphire.
Group Results: Adult Tap-Diamond and first place overall; Tap IV/Adults, Diamond-second place overall; Tap IV-Ruby and Broadway Dance Dreams award; Ballet/Lyrical, Lyrical III-Ruby; Ballet/Lyrical II, Ballet-Ruby; Ballet/Lyrical II, Lyrical - Emerald; Hip Hop II (Wild, Wild West)-Emerald and Judge’s Choice Award for costumes; Hip Hop II (Housework)-Emerald and Judge’s Choice Award for teamwork; Ballet/Jazz II-Emerald.
