2020 Valley Christian Shopping spree

Emily Cottrell speeds through the aisles of Main Street Market on Saturday in an attempt to fill a pair of grocery carts in under 3 minutes. Cottrell was the winner of a fundraising raffle for Valley Christian School, and her reward was free reign to take whatever she wanted from the shelves of Main Street Market.  “I’m happy with it. I’m glad I didn’t panic,” Cottrell said of her haul, which totaled $775.92, $25.92 over the $750 limit – but the family picked up the rest of the bill. She estimates the food will last about a month.

VCS earned $5,400 in the raffle.
