TORRINGTON – The WyoRing handbell choirs will host their annual fundraiser beginning at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, April 14, at the St. Rose Catholic Church Social Hall here.
The event starts with a 5:30 p.m. dinner, followed by a 7 p.m. concert by the Platte River Ringers and WyoWest Ringers handbell choirs, under the direction of Joyce Willeke.
“This is our second Dinner Bell fundraiser,” Willeke said. “We’ve been practicing this music for several months and we think the community will enjoy this variety of musical numbers ranging from Broadway to Ragtime.”
Advance tickets are available at $20 per person. Deadline to purchase tickets is April 11. Tickets are available from Points West Bank, the Goshen County Chamber of Commerce, Community Drug or from handbell choir members. Proceeds from this fundraiser will go toward WyoRing expenses including music, instrument maintenance, and the annual WyoRing handbells workshop in the fall at Eastern Wyoming College.
