TORRINGTON – Memorial services for Wilma (Bartow) Miller Dillman, 84 will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2017, at the Colyer Funeral Home Chapel with Mel Gabel officiating.
Mrs. Dillman died at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, Neb., on Feb. 16, 2017 and cremation has taken place.
Mrs. Dillman was born Feb. 9, 1933, in Gering, Neb., the daughter of Orville and Margaret (Osborne) Bartow. The family moved to Henry, Neb., then back to Gering and then to Torrington, where she received
her schooling.
She married Albert Miller on May 14, 1950, in Torrington. The couple farmed in the Scottsbluff, Mitchell and Gering Valleys. In 1967 they moved to the Huntley area and farmed until Mr. Miller’s illness in 1988.
They moved back to Torrington and she worked at Vandel Drug. Mr. Miller died in 1998. She was married to Willie Dillman on Oct. 19, 2002, and they continued to live in Torrington.
Mrs. Dillman was a member of the Lyman Christian Church, the Table Mountain Community Club, where she served as secretary, the Christian Women’s Fellowship, where she served as president, and the Evening Circle.
Mrs. Dillman is survived by her husband Willie Dillman of Torrington; three sons Ron (Peggy) Miller of Torrington, Darrell (Gail) Miller of Tombal, Texas, and Gary (Charlene) Miller of Fort Worth, Texas; a daughter Deborah Miller of Texas; a sister Esther Burris of Lynwood, Wash.; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; five step-children; 13 step-grandchildren; and numerous step great-grandchildren.
Her parents, her first husband Albert Miller and four sisters preceded Mrs. Dillman in death.
