All three Goshen County football teams put on their pads and helmets for some competitive action last weekend. Torrington and Southeast both competed in the Southeast Goshen Jamboree in Yoder, while Lingle-Fort Laramie participated at the Midwest scrimmage. The Blazers and Cyclones were joined by Burns (1A), Thunder Basin (4A), Lusk (1A) and Wheatland (2A). Guernsey-Sunrise and Midwest were the two teams cracking pads with the Doggers.
All three teams start their season at home this Friday. Torrington hosts Wheatland at 7 p.m., while Southeast has it’s Homecoming game starting at 7 p.m. against Bayard, Neb. L-FL hosts Little Snake River in an afternoon game, with the kickoff set for 3 p.m.
