Torrington went 0-3 for the evening.

NEWCASTLE – The Torrington High School wrestling team traveled to Newcastle for a quadrangular on Tuesday evening, joining the Dogies, Douglas and Wheatland.
Torrington went 0-3 for the evening.
The Blazers fell to Newcastle 48-18.
The Dogies jumped out to a 48-0 lead before an open weight at 170 pounds gave Torrington’s Tyler Juma a free victory.
Gabe Mitchell (182 pounds) and Rhiley Grubbs (195) backed it up with two fall victories to end the dual, as both teams were open at 220 and 285.
The Blazers lost to the Wheatland Bulldogs, 45-24.
Nolan Long, Juma, Gabe Mitchell and Rhiley Grubbs all picked up wins by fall.
Torrington also wrestled Douglas, falling 59-10.
Matthew Hellus won by fall, while Rhiley Grubbs won in a 14-1 major decision.
The Blazers travel to Lander Valley Invite on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 24-25. Torrington will join Big Piney, Buffalo, Burns-Pine Bluffs, Cody, Douglas, Dubois, Glenrock, Jackson, Kemmerer, Lander, Laramie, Lovell, Lyman, Mountain View, Newcastle/Upton, Pinedale, Powell, Rawlins, Riverton, Rock Springs, Saratoga, Shoshoni, Star Valley, Thermopolis, Wheatland, Wind River, Worland and Wyoming Indian.
