RAWLINS – The Torrington girls golf team picked up the team win at the Rawlins Invitational last week, recording a two-day score of 588.
Caleigh Essert again topped the list of all of the girls golfers, finishing first. She scored an 80 on Thursday and a 74 on Friday. Jenna Kaufman also got into the top-10. She scored a 107 on the first day and 103 on the second day, tying for fifth with a two-day score of 210.
“Caleigh had another good week,” coach Jeff Halley said. “Jenna also had a good week to get up and place. It was good for the girls to get a team win.”
