Each Worland touchdown came on runs of 23 yards or greater.

TORRINGTON – The Worland Warriors handed the Torrington High School football team a 28-7 loss on Friday evening, ending any hopes the Blazers had of making it to the playoffs.
Each Worland touchdown came on runs of 23 yards or greater.
After a scoreless first quarter, Worland got in the end zone late in the second quarter on a 24-yard run.
Worland added two more touchdowns in the third quarter courtesy of 65- and 27-yard scoring runs.
The Warriors final score came with 8:20 left in the game on a 23-yard run.
Torrington finally got on the scoreboard with three ticks left on the clock on a 1-yard quarterback keeper from senior Sam Firminhac.
Firminhac was 14 for 24 passing for 147 yards, while sophomore Keiser Wolfe hauled in five catches for 48 yards. Junior Jett Schwartzkopf led the Blazers in rushing with 54 yards on 14 carries, while sophomore Trace Floyd added 10 carries for 40 yards.
The Blazers (1-6 and 0-4 in the 3A East) will celebrate the careers of five seniors, including Sam Firminhac, Jackson Jones, Brandon Deen, Corbin Harris and Cameron Murphy on Friday evening when the Rawlins Outlaws (3-5 and 0-4) come to Wiseman Field.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
