TORRINGTON – Torrington middle schoolers know their history, sweeping the competition in the annual Regional History Day contest, March 16 at Wheatland Middle School.
Students selected their own topics and developed entries on this year’s theme, Conflict and Compromise in History. Of the 27 students competing, 22 of them qualified for the state contest, scheduled for Monday, April 9 at the University of Wyoming in Laramie. Sponsors of the group are Stephen Hart, Dave Burrill and Mary Perkins.
