In the opening round on Friday, Torrington opened the day with a trio of falls against Ogallala.
Gabe Mitchell (195 pounds), Rhiley Grubbs (220) and Sam Sorenson (285) picked up pins to open the season, and those three proved to be the lone three victories of the dual.

In the second round, Torrington was defeated by the Cheyenne East Thunderbirds, 69-9.
The lone wins went Sorenson by a 4-2 tie breaker, and Bryce Hager (152) by fall.
The two losses dropped the Blazers to the fifth-place match on Saturday against Cheyenne Central Indians.
After forfeit losses at 106 and 113 pounds, Reece Grubbs got the Blazers on the scoreboard with a disqualification win.
Central rattled off two more wins at 126 and 132 before Michael Sandusky scored a fall at 138 pounds for his first win of the season.
