TORRINGTON – Torrington’s Logan Harris earned all-state honors for indoor track and field for his efforts in shot put for Cheyenne Central this winter.
Harris, along with several other Goshen County track and field athletes, competed with Cheyenne Central during the indoor track season. The Blazer racked up several first-place finishes this winter. At the state meet this weekend, Harris recorded a season-best throw of 61-2.5. His throw in the state meet was almost seven feet better than the second-place finisher and a new state indoor record.
Harris continued to add on to his honors this season, after picking up all-state honors for football in the fall.
The Blazer was joined on the all-state list by four Cheyenne Central teammates. Dawson Cooley, Adarius Gallon, Eric Lundgren and Aubrey Frentheway all earned recognition for their efforts this winter.
