WHEATLAND – The Torrington High School golf team wrapped up the spring golf season on Friday in Wheatland.
The 18-hole golf tournament was cut short after only nine holes due to weather, according to THS coach Jeff Halley.
Gage Gibson led the locals with a 43 to finish tied for second. Ryder Hackbarth and Malaki Braddy shot a 44. Alex Waring fired a 55, while Boyd Oliver shot a 61.
In the girls’ division, Sydney Eaton led the Lady Blazers shot a 55 to finish tied for fourth.
Kaylee Pitman shot a 62, while Carleigh Dugger had a 66. Lauren Orr fired a 73, while Rori Masterson had an 81.
“Our new and young kids really improved this spring,” Halley said. “Hopefully, they will be tough next fall after playing this summer.”
