LINGLE – At his request, no services will be held for Thomas F. Burkard, 66. Tom died while hunting south of Fort Laramie and cremation has taken place.
Donations in Tom’s name to a Memorial Scholarship Fund can be sent to either Ruth Karcher at 8105 S. 87th Street #3, LaVista, Neb., 68128 or Patricia Barthel at 2441 West B Street, Torrington, Wyoming, 82240. The Colyer Funeral Home assisted the family with the cremation arrangements.
Tom is survived by three sisters Ruth Karcher of LaVista, Patty Barthel of Torrington, and Doris (John) Fernandes of Underwood, Iowa; and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Jeannette Burkard; and a brother-in-law, Richard Barthel and Geremy Barthel.
