On July 2, my elderly mother had a bad fall and spent four days at Banner Health Community Hospital. During the four days and nights that she was there, I became acquainted with the nurses and nurses’ aides of eight different shifts. Their care was nothing short of superb.
To a one, they were caring, responsive and competent. Teamwork was also excellent. AS one team of nurse and aide ended a shift, the nurse from that shift would come in and introduce the replacement nurse, relaying all of the vital information needed about my mother’s care. If my mother needed something, her call was answered immediately. Never was care given without a smile and a kind manner.
From the EMT’s who came to the house, to the Emergency Room doctor and staff, to entry into the hospital, it was heartening to experience the excellent care and professionalism. Thank you to everyone who helped in so many ways.
