CHEYENNE – Susan Emily (Hager, Swanson) Ness passed away peacefully May 23, 2017, at Davis Hospice Center in Cheyenne, surrounded by her family.
She was born Dec. 4, 1945, in Torrington.
Susie is survived by her first husband, Dr. Norman Swanson of Cheyenne; her husband, Alan Ness of Cheyenne; children, Justin Swanson of Snohomish, Wash., Lisa (Swanson) Stromberg of Salem, S.D., Katie (Swanson) Talbott of Cheyenne and Kelly (Swanson) Odean of Johnstown, Colo; stepchildren, Bethany (Ness) Willmarth and Jordan Ness, both of Cheyenne; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Ardyce (Hager) Jaastad of Woodbury, Minn.; and brother Bob Hager of San Antonio, Texas.
Susan’s mother, Annabelle (Cummings) Hager, and her father, Laurence (Bud) Hager; as well as Bob and Hester Chaffin, preceded her in death.
Cremation has taken place.
Services were held in Cheyenne. Friends who wish may contribute to the Davis Hospice Center.
