TORRINGTON – A celebration of life will be held at a later date for Susan May Underwood Foltz, 72, who died at her home on July 19, 2019.
Cremation has taken place. Memorials may be given in her honor to Southeast Wyoming Art Association. The Colyer Funeral Home assisted the family with the cremation arrangements.
Susan was born August 14, 1948 in Torrington, the daughter of Richard and Phyllis (Edwards) Underwood. She grew up and received her education in Torrington, graduating from Torrington High School in 1966.
She married Tom Andrew and they had four children. Tom died in 1988. She later married Richard Foltz and they were later divorced, prior to his death.
She worked as a travel agent and in the early 2000’s she moved to Cheyenne, Wyo. and later to Pocatello, Idaho, where she attended college and received a B.S. degree. She moved back to Torrington in 2007.
Susan enjoyed art especially drawing and painting, which she did on ceramic tiles. She was a member of the Southeast Wyoming Art Association and the Torrington Senior Friendship Center.
Susan is survived by a daughter, Nyana (Mark) Sims of Torrington; three sons, Tom (Lori Foos) Andrew of Gillette, Wyo., Brian Andrew of Conifer, Colo. and Scott Andrew of Cheyenne; brother, Chan Underwood of Jackson, Wyo.; half-brother, Pat West of St. Louis, Missouri; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two spouses, Richard Foltz and Tom Andrew; and one grandson, Travis Sims.
